HOW TO MAKE THE “HE IS RISEN” TOMB CRAFT:
▶︎ Paint one paper plate gray to look like a stone tomb. Let dry and cut in half.
▶︎ Flip one half over and paint the back side yellow with touches of orange to represent the heavenly glow.
▶︎ Glue the angel inside the yellow half to create the bright interior of the tomb.
▶︎ Cut a semi-circle in the middle of the other gray half to form the rock door.
▶︎ Staple the two halves together to form a U-shape pocket with the yellow glow inside.
▶︎ Hole punch matching spots on the tomb and the rock door.
▶︎ Attach the rock door using a brass fastener (brad) so it can open and close.
▶︎ Cut and glue the chosen Bible verse onto the rock door.
▶︎ Trace and cut two handprints from yellow construction paper to create sun rays, gluing them behind the tomb for a radiant effect.
▶︎ Optional: Mount the finished craft on the watercolor hill background for a display-ready Easter scene.
