Turn a simple brown paper lunch bag into a manger for Baby Jesus! This printable Christmas Nativity Craft is an easy way to share the story of Jesus' birth with kids at Sunday School, children's church, or home.
Kids will cut a window into a brown lunch bag, fill it with shredded paper for hay, and add the printable Baby Jesus and Bethlehem star. A Bible verse label featuring Luke 2:11 goes on the front of the bag. When they're finished, they'll have their own little manger scene to take home and display for Christmas.
I designed this Baby Jesus craft with Sunday School classrooms in mind. There are two complete crafts on each printable page, so you can save on printing when preparing for a group. I've also included a coloring page and directions to make planning your Christmas Bible lesson a little easier.

HOW TO MAKE THE BABY JESUS MANGER:
▶︎ Start with a brown paper lunch bag and cut a large window in the front.
▶︎ Add shredded paper or crinkle paper inside the bag to look like hay.
▶︎ Cut out Baby Jesus and attach Him inside the window.
▶︎ Glue the Bethlehem star to the top of the bag.
▶︎ Add the Luke 2:11 Bible verse label to the front.
That's it! You'll have a little paper bag manger that kids can take home as a reminder of the Christmas story.
